My Favorite Things
A Little About Me
I'm a homebody. I would rather be home than any other place. One may call my life a simple life, but that's OK, too. I enjoy watching the birds, going for walks, baking, playing the piano, web page design, and try my hand at graphics at times, but I'm not any good. I do OK with backgrounds, but graphics get on my nerves and believe me, I don't need more stuff getting on my nerves!
Four little dogkids keep me busy and they think that they're human. I won't tell them they're really dogs, if you won't. I've thought about getting them a new kitten, but figured it would be best to leave well enough alone. I have pictures of them in my Gallery if you'd like to see the little critters.
Getting along well with most people has always been at the top of my list. I'm not hard to please when it comes to talking. I can talk about almost anything, but do try to avoid conversations that delve into my personal life. My way of thinking is that a person will tell you what that person wants you to know and nothing more.
Let's see, what else...hmmmmm, oh, I'm a Taurus.

Cake and ice cream! Yep, two of my favorite things in life are cake and ice cream. I haven't had either since New Year's
Eve! ***UPDATE*** I have baked ONE cake since New Year's Eve. I have had some ice cream as well because I stuck to my resolution and lost the ten pounds
that I wanted to lose and then some! Woo Hoo! Thank you Lord! 
I have several favorite colors and can't decide on only one; Aqua, red, yellow, and blue. I do a lot of black and dark webpages, so I guess I like the darker colors, too.
I simply adore animals. If I had the money and the help, I would take in all homeless pets and give them food and a warm, loving home. I also love watching the wild animals. Have you ever watched the squirrels showing off their quirky little selves? They're cute to watch, but they're pesky little devils, tearing up the bird feeders, gobbling all the bird seeds, and even getting under the car hood only to chew through hoses! Yep, that has happened to me before.
Sorry to rattle on, but I told you earlier that I love talking and can talk about almost anything! I won't get off on another topic or I may write a novel before it's over. I think that I should start writing to my blog...we have a nice blogging space here at good ole Yuku!
